free ‘cute’ hugs
my hugs would have the power to change destructive, intolerant, hateful and angry emotions into feelings of love and acceptance. those who received my gift would then have the ability to come up with logical ways to remove themselves from potentially harmful situations and find peaceful solutions to their concerns.

newbeginnings, neverendings
the “end” of my round the world trip means a new beginning of my life in new york. i am excited and scared about going home. knowing the opportunities ahead of me are limitless is wonderful and intimidating. my return will just be another stop on this incredible journey.
the australian gardener's plight: constant drought
with huge areas of seriously dry ecosystems, much of australia has restrictions on the use of water. regular watering of gardens and lawns is frowned upon by many people in australia and is even prohibited in some areas, while highly restricted in others. depending on the city and state, severe fines are often imposed upon residents for watering lawns or gardens during certain hours, or even at...
responsibility
be open to the possibility that we are responsible for how our actions make others feel. be open to the idea that it may be fair to be held responsible for our actions, by ourselves as well as by others. recently, i have been meditating on this responsibility with regards to love.
