composting is one of the most, if not THE most, important aspects of organic gardening.  adam takes compost to a new level with a seaweed and fish emulsion mixture.  after adding hay, adam lets it cook like any other compost, but does not allow the hay to break down.  this creates a product that acts as both a composted fertilizer for feeding the crops and a mulch for keeping moisture in and weeds out.
