responsibility

be open to the possibility that we are responsible for how our actions make others feel.  be open to the idea that it may be fair to be held responsible for our actions, by ourselves as well as by others.  recently, i have been meditating on this responsibility with regards to love.

i have realized that if a person loves you more than you love them, you have a responsibility to make your feelings completely clear.  if you see the person is in pain because of this, you have a responsibility to end the relationship and give that person the space to move on.  now i have been on both sides of the situation and i understand what it means to take that responsibility.

many thanks to the universe for giving me the strength to learn from others’ mistakes and take responsibility for how my actions and feelings may affect others.  it has taken much courage on my part.
